Itinerary

Day 1ARRIVE TO MANDALAY  [-/-/D]

Welcome to Myanmar! Your guide will meet you at the Mandalay airport and transfer to your hotel in town. Settle in and then enjoy free time to explore Mandalay. Welcome dinner, trip briefing and meet the local team tonight.
Start biking on the eastern rural side of Mandalay and observe the daily life of the people in the outskirts of the town. Bike through scenic paddy fields and villages. Bike through YE KYI, ZAYCHO MARKET, PALACE, GOLDEN PALACE MONASTERY, MANDALAY HILL.

Day 2MANDALAY – MINGUN – SAGAING – MANDALAY [B/L/D]

Start your day with a pleasant cruise over Ayerwaddy River to MINGUN village. Wander through the village lanes and visit MINGUN BELL, HSINBYUME PAGODA, MINGUN PAGODA. Visit nunneries and monasteries of Sagaing Hill before biking back to Mandalay.

Day 3MANDALAY – MYIN MU – MONYWA [B/L/D]

In the early morning, board your boat to Myin Mu town. It’s a delightful small market town in the center of highway road from Mandalay to India. Visit beautiful market of Myin Mu. Start your biking on the country road to Monywa passing through a lot of farms, villages, road junctions, small towns. For energetic, there is a chance to walk in the town for the night food and fruit market.

Day 4MONYWA - PAKOKKU - BAGAN [B/L/D]

Visit villages on the way. Stop also in PAKHANGYI to visit one of the oldest ornate teak monasteries of the country. Continue by boat, on the AYEYARWADDY RIVER, to BAGAN where you will arrive in time for sunset. This downriver trip takes approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival in Bagan, transfer to your hotel.

Optional: Sunrise Hot Air balloon flight over Bagan temples.

Day 5BAGAN [B/L/D]

Visit SHWEZIGON PAGODA, GU BYAUK GYI, KHAY MIN GA TEMPLE, and ANANDA TEMPLE, MANUHA TEMPLE, NANBAYA TEMPLE, SHWESANDAW and prepare to be mesmerized by the decent spell of the sunset over the majestic Bagan scenery. Overnight stay in Bagan.

Day 6 BAGAN [B/L/D]

After breakfast, bike cross country through small dirt tracks and walkways to MIN NAN THU village. The village is near the unusual sights of the TAYOKEPYAY TEMPLE, PHAYA THONE ZU, and NANDAMANYA TEMPLES. Visit KYAT KAN CAVE, SHWEGUGYI, DHAMAYANGI TEMPLE .Overnight stay in Bagan.

Day 7BAGAN & MT POPA  [B/L/D]

begin your biking from your hotel to Mt. Popa passing all the farming landscape and villages. Visit palm sugar production industry of Bagan region. This is where you will leave your bike and continue the steep mountainous part by car to MOUNT POPA. Visit Nats shrine. Climb up the 777 steps to the shrine at the top of the peak and enjoy the panoramic view. Lunch at Popa Mountain Resort. Return to the palm sugar factory and bike back to Bagan.

Day 8 BAGAN DEPARTURE [B/L/D]

After breakfast, transfer to Bagan Airport for your onward flight.
